HECPAAA is a group of community-oriented individuals who have attended and graduated from the Hoffman Estates Citizen Police or Fire Academy, programs designed to introduce members of the community to the workings of the Hoffman Estates Police and Fire Departments. Members volunteer their time to assist these departments and other local agencies in many different ways, including participating in community- and department-sponsored events, offering administrative support, and helping to improve communications between the departments and the general public.

	Our current fund raising efforts are aimed at raising funds to purchase AED's (automatic external defibrillator) devices for Hoffman Estates Police Department patrol vehicles.
